Tim Williams has been active in the Collector Car Hobby for many years. He has been a member of other Car Clubs and Associations in the past. He has been fortunate to have owned and driven many vehicles which included Sports Cars a Lotus and Porsche, and Muscle Cars, a Corvette, a Nova, Trans Am, Plymouth Cuda, and others.
Tim Williams located and joined up with the former BC Chevelle Club in 2006 and started to take an active role very quickly in the Club. Tim has been in the position of Secretary, Treasurer, Event Co-coordinator, in charge of the Annual Christmas Dinner and Auction and 1st Vice President.
As the Club is moving forward with a new name adding GM to our Club Logo we are welcoming new members and spouses, and younger members as well. This is what Tim believes will help to strengthen the Collector Car Hobby and keep it strong for many years to come.
The BC Chevelle and GM Club have exciting venues planned. We have a number of Car Show and Shines planned, a Summer Barbeque, visits and cruises to Sponsor’s Shops and other destinations, and our Annual Christmas Dinner and Auction. All these Events help us to raise awareness and finances that we donate to the Club’s choice of Charities.
In 2006 through a friend Tim Williams learned of a 1972 Chevelle 2 door that was for sale but there was not a lot of information about the vehicle.
When Tim Williams found out where the 1972 Chevelle was located, he and a friend went to check it out.
The 1972 Chevelle was a one owner car, 85,000 original miles, 350 cu inch engine, Automatic, numbers matching drive train, all original interior. GM Canada has documented the vehicle.
Vehicle appraised in 2013 and comments from Appraiser were “A very well preserved and maintained original car All areas show very well.”.
